The parents and children that make up the Daisy Community come from a wide range of social, economic, religious and racial backgrounds. All children and families are welcome, regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation. We passionately believe in the strength of diversity.
One of the pillars of the Daisy Community is its parents. Our experience shows that a close relationship between home and Daisy builds trust and communication, enabling a stable and satisfying experience for us all. Beyond the monthly Parents Meeting, which we strongly encourage our parents to attend, we welcome as much involvement as possible.
Indeed, some of our parents come to Daisy to read to their child’s class, talk to the children about their cultures and some come in to participate in arts, music or drama. We also have a bi-annual Work Day where parents come in to help put a shine on the school for their children.
We also celebrate the holidays with an annual Holiday Show and each June we have a Farewell Ceremony for the children “graduating” to kindergarten.
